New York TAG members are invited to join fellow IATSE union kin and the New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO for the nation’s oldest and largest Labor Day Parade. On Saturday, September 6, tens of thousands of workers representing more than 200 unions and constituency groups will come together in solidarity, marching up NYC’s Fifth Avenue starting at 10 a.m. EST. Not only does this year’s theme, “Power in Unity,” speak to the solidarity among NYC workers and union members from diverse backgrounds, it reflects TAG workers who practice many different crafts and stand together for better conditions and fair treatment for all.
