Become a Storyboard Craft Rep!

The Storyboard Committee is looking for volunteers to become Storyboard Craft Reps for their show/production.

The Craft Rep pilot program was previously limited to a handful of studios, but is now being expanded to all contracted studios and productions. The goal is to find a Craft Rep volunteer on each show within each studio.

Similar to Shop Stewards, who are Guild workplace leaders and who are available to provide guidance and answers to questions pertaining to the Union, Contract and Constitution, a Storyboard Craft Rep answers questions related to the specific storyboard craft.

A Craft Rep’s duties include alerting their teams to Guild meetings, communicating with their teams about ways of handling issues pertaining to their craft and current production, and being available to hear concerns or ideas on how the craft may be improved. Above all, Craft Reps are important to fostering a sense of community and solidarity between all artists in the storyboard craft.

If you are interested in becoming a Storyboard Craft Rep for your show/production, please fill out the Craft Rep Application. If you have any questions about the program, email the Storyboard Committee at animationstoryboardgroup@gmail.com.
