When members are not working, they have the option to go on Honorable Withdrawal. But remaining an Active Member ensures that you are able to participate fully in all Guild business and activities. The following are only accessible if you are an Active Member in Good Standing:
- Attend General Membership Meetings
- Participate in votes (contract ratification, Executive Board elections, strike authorization)
- Run for office
- Chair a committee
