TAG members will once again be participating in the annual May Day March and Rally in Downtown Los Angeles on May 1. The Local is also a proud sponsor of the march and rally.
This year’s theme is Essential & United for Justice and we will be marching with our IATSE kin, along with hundreds of union members, community organizations and activists. The rally begins around 11 a.m. and the march at noon at Olympic and Broadway and ends at City Hall with a post-march rally.
There are also some volunteer opportunities and events leading up to the May Day March including an Art Day and a stage build at Local 80.
On April 11, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., a press conference will take place at the location of the start of the march and TAG member Thomas Zenteno will be speaking on behalf of the Local.
