Meet New Executive Board Member Elianne Melendez
Tell us a little about your professional background.
I am a production worker who has worked in animation since 2021. I have had the pleasure of working on projects like The Boys Presents: Diabolical, Scavengers Reign, and StuGo.
How have you been involved with the Guild in the past?
I was part of one of the first production units to organize into TAG and helped negotiate our first contract at Titmouse L.A. I was also part of the 2025-2027 TAG Negotiations Committee and a lead on the Escalating Actions Committee. I am a member of TAG-ME and a Captain Coordinator. I am also a Co-Chair on the Production Committee, which has been on hiatus due to TAG negotiations and then the Titmouse Production negotiations that started right after, but I am eager to start up again once that wraps.
What do you hope to accomplish as part of TAG’s leadership?
I am happy to be the first production worker on Executive Board. The nature of who makes up our Union is changing: there are more women, people of color, and openly queer folks. And members who unionized previous non-union crafts and studios are entering TAG. Our industry is changing, too, and the jury is still out on what it will look like when the dust settles. The Executive Board is one of the bodies that can make impactful choices on how our Union decides to respond to these changes and challenges, and I want to have a say.

I’m a big fan of Latin American ’80’s new wave, goth and rock bands.
Meet New Executive Board Member Rachael Cohen
Tell us a little about your professional background.
I started in animation in 2019 doing color design, background paint, and vis-dev, but as an Executive Board member, I want to look beyond our job classifications and represent the membership as workers, first and foremost.
How have you been involved with the Guild in the past?
I was a member of the Color Design Committee that fought to bring pay equity to one of our most female-dominated crafts, and I helped to negotiate the 2024-2027 Master Agreement that finally achieved our goal.
What do you hope to accomplish as part of TAG’s leadership?
As an Executive Board member, I hope to harness the passion and drive that I see in our membership into real, beneficial change for our Union.

I enjoy sewing as a hobby, and you may see me wearing clothes that I made for myself from scratch. I especially love bringing new life to textiles donated to thrift stores!
