The Art Heroines: Use your creative powers to level up!

This panel will explore the triumphs and pitfalls of entertainment industry work. Personal accounts—often humorous but sometimes harrowing—will inform attendees on how to not only survive stresses, but excel through them.  The panel will touch on employer best practices, habits that are productive vs. counterproductive, and offer tips for creatives to build better relationships. Moderated by Kristin Donner (animation artist), panelists include Danelle Vierkant (The Orville,Aquaman), Ivonne Escoto (Aquaman, Hellboy), Denise ‘Dee’ Chavez (HamCat, Curious George), Jo Holland (Avengers: Endgame,Captain Marvel), Haley Who (Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), Alina Chau (Marshmallow & Jordan), Chelsea Pickens (Word Party,Yamasong). “I look forward to speaking with the group about the important topics influencing our entertainment and animation industry today. It’s fun to have artists of all ages listen in, relate and participate with our topic and allow us a platform to share our many experiences, from many sides of the Industry,” says Denise ‘Dee’ Chavez.
