Super Tuesday is almost here! On March 3rd, 14 states including California will vote in the Democratic primaries and 13 states will vote in the Republican primaries. Moreover, California Assemblywoman Christy Smith (D) is running in the special election to replace Katie Hill in the 25th District. The special election will also be held on Super Tuesday, and IATSE has endorsed Smith.

How to vote on Super Tuesday – You don’t have to wait until Mar. 3rd!
This year how you vote in primaries and elections is changing to make the process easier and more modern. Voting on one day is now a thing of the past. The new system gives you more time to cast your voice (starting 11 days before the primaries) and allows you to vote at a Vote Center near you.
Vote Centers will open this Saturday, Feb. 22nd, and the county is encouraging citizens to cast their votes early to avoid lines. You can find your nearest Vote Center here.
To cast your vote, you’ll be using a more modern ballot marking device that also prints out a paper ballot. Voters can access 13 languages, adjust the touch screen to a comfortable angle, change the display settings such as text size and contrast or go through the ballot using the audio headset and control pad.
