Tell us  a little bit about yourself.

I grew up in New York and moved to Southern California back in 2014 to attend CalArts. Ever since graduation, I’ve been living in Burbank and creating stories through art/animation for fun and for work.

When did you decide you wanted to be an artist?

Ever since I was little, I loved drawing cartoons based on the stuff I saw on TV. I wanted to make my own stories by stapling pieces of paper together, telling my dad to write stories, and I would draw to them. There was never a point I didn’t want to become an artist. I knew I liked drawing, and everyone told me that I’m going to be an artist someday, so in a way I was positively brainwashed into getting into this field LOL.

Tell us a little bit about your current job.

I’m currently working at Titmouse Animation Studios as a storyboard artist for a 2D feature film that will be on Netflix. My job is great because I love getting the chance to be an actress in disguise. I really enjoy portraying emotions and moods through character interactions, and even giving characters some of my own spice.

If you were a cartoon character, who would it be and why?

If I were to be a cartoon character, I would probably be Blackfire from Teen Titans because I’ve always been the evil sister in the relationship I have with my actual sister.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Other than work, I enjoy learning about business and finance, and working on my own projects. I’ve also been getting into real estate investing recently, so it’s really fun to look at different houses in LA and dream about the future. I also really like kickboxing, making comics, and creating my own content on Instagram.
