Umaimah is a Hausa-Fulani artist from Nigeria who developed her passion for art at the tender age of 6 by scribbling, coloring & sketching. When she matured, animation and comics captured her imagination and led to her acquiring a BFA in Animation at the Savannah College Of Arts and Design (Atlanta). Subsequently, she worked with renowned studios like Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and more. As time progressed, color has become an integral part of her artwork as it allows exploration through different mediums. At present, Umaimah resides in Los Angeles exploring the city’s culture & people while invigorating her love for art.
