Welcome, showrunners! (And everyone who would like to run a show one day.) Below you will find interviews with many of the people you may meet in animation. Our interviews by members of the Animation Guild Writers’ Craft Committee cover what each role entails, how showrunners interact with all stages of production, and hopefully how to avoid problems along the way. We hope this will be a helpful resource guide for learning the roles on an animation production pipeline.
Enjoy, and good luck on your future animated series!
