Do you have a TAG 401k Plan? If you do, have you checked your first paycheck of the New Year? Take a look and make sure it includes your TAG 401k Plan deduction.
There are issues that can occur at payroll to cause problems with the 401k when a new year begins. This can result in missed 401k contributions. TAG does not have access to the weekly payroll information and can’t monitor these issues for you. It is up to you to proactively check your paychecks and contact TAG for help when payroll issues arise.
In addition, 401k contribution limits have gone up from last year! For 2024, if you are under the age of 50 you can now contribute $23,000 dollars to your TAG 401k Plan. If you are over the age of 50, you can contribute an additional $7,500 on top of that $23,000.
