We continue to see increases in studio employees working under the Animation Guild’s jurisdiction in Southern California. As of today, there are 3,418 designers, animators, technical directors and writers at our contract studios.
On the pension side of the ledger book, we have the same number of people enrolled in the Motion Picture Industry Individual Account Plan and Defined Benefit Plan, and 2,616 participants in the Animation Guild 401(k) Plan (which is optional).
Currently, there is $228,810,433.37 in the TAG 401(k) Plan.
There is $3.745 billion in the Individual Account Plan.
And $3.247 billion inside the Defined Benefit Plan.
